Are you planning an RV trip with your family or your better half?
An RV park is a great place to visit if you have already made up your travel plans. However, what many fail to do is appropriate budgeting when it comes to such vacations. There are so many things that we often avoid such as when you are planning to leave, or what are some locations where you want to make stopovers. Besides all that, there are other constraints like what type of RV you’re planning to rent & for how long; how much gas will be required and other such costs, all that play a role.
If you haven’t budgeted yet, here are a few tips on how to effectively budget on your first RV trip.
How Much It Will Cost to Rent an RV
The cost to rent an RV will vary depending on the size, type, and amenities offered. Generally, you can expect to pay anywhere from $50-$250 a night for a small camper, and up to $500 or more for a luxury RV.
RV cost depends on a number of factors such as the class and age of the RV. There are three classes of RV; Class A, B & C. Class A has a strong frame and has a high quality interior. Class B is relatively smaller but it has enough room and space to keep things. It also includes a sub-standard kitchen and shower. Class C is the cheapest RV which is quite the budget-friendly option for all kinds of customers.
Class A RVs usually range from $300-$500; whereas the Class C motorhomes cost less.
How Much Gas Will Be Needed
It all depends on how far you’re located from Magnolia RV Resort.
Gas is one of the important areas that you need to pay attention to, when you’re budgeting for an RV trip. Almost all motorhomes have the same fuel tank sizes so it doesn’t matter which RV you purchase or rent out, as long as you’ve calculated the distance from your house to the resort. Magnolia RV Resort is located in Waco, Dallas. So simply, open up your Google Maps or any other Map application which you’re using and now calculate the distance from your location to Waco’s desired destination.
See how many miles you’re covering and prepare a quick estimate to get an idea on the gas. If you’re spending something over $200, then we suggest that it’s not a good idea unless you don’t find the landmarks interesting nearby Magnolia RV Resort.
What Type of Food You Should Carry
Food is essential as it’s what fuels your body so it depends what you’re carrying.
How much food you should be carrying totally depends on how long you’re planning to stay at the RV Resort. A good idea is to bring foods that are non-perishable. These can be canned goods, dry food items, and other edibles which have a long shelf-life.
It’s also a good idea to bring plenty of snacks, fruits, and vegetables.
There are many interesting restaurants and food spots where you can individually visit & eat at your pleasure; but we recommend that you still pack!
After all, you can always want a midnight or late hour snack in the wilderness.
